Hi, I'm Karlene.


I’m a photographer based in sunny Townsville, North Queensland — a mother, partner, dog mum, horse mum, creative at heart and, most of all, a storyteller.


Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From picking up a camera in high school to photographing family, friends, my horses and dogs, I’ve always loved capturing the moments and personalities I never want to forget. That passion eventually led me to complete my Diploma of Photography and Digital Imaging, and I continue to learn, experiment and refine my craft.


For me, photography is about so much more than creating a beautiful image. It’s about preserving connection -


 the little interactions between families, the love between couples, and the unmistakable personalities of the animals who become such an important part of our lives.


My sessions are relaxed and down-to-earth, with enough guidance to help you feel comfortable while leaving room for the genuine moments to happen naturally. My goal is to create timeless, heartfelt photographs that feel like you, images that are beautiful today but become even more meaningful with time.


When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me with my family and animals, spending time with my horse Bailey, starting another creative project, enjoying a good coffee, or escaping to a holiday whenever I get the chance.
